If you plan on visiting Antigua to view properties, we can arrange accommodation and transport.  If visiting for more than a few days, car hire is probably more economical than taxis although nothing is cheaper than the local bus service.

Antigua is an island in the West Indies Leeward Island chain set on the eastern edge of the Caribbean.  Antigua is the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. English Harbour is on the south-eastern coast and is the site of a restored British colonial naval station now called "Nelson's Dockyard", after Captain Horatio Nelson who served in Antigua in the late 18th Century. Today, English Harbour and the neighbouring village of Falmouth, with its large harbour and marinas, are internationally famous as a yachting and sailing destinations and provisioning centres.

Jolly Harbour is another centre of yachting activity and incorporates a large of residential and commercial development plus a golf course with expanding developments on the surrounding hillsides.  Situated on the west coast, it is roughly halfway between English Harbour and the capital of St. John's.

There are both English speaking and French speaking islands in the Windward/Leeward Island chain and all are within easy reach of Antigua which is the central hub.  Properties are available on all these islands but prices do vary substantially.
